During September 2005 and January 2006, I had the privilege to travel through India and Nepal.
In December 2005, we decided to stop in Bangalore to volunteer at the Born Free Art School. The artist John Deveraj and the dance movement psychotherapist Mioi Nakayama created this school to support kids living and working on the streets.
I was traveling with my partner and a friend (both musicians). They taught music, while I taught photography.
It was such a great experience, and we felt so welcomed that we decided to have Christmas with all of them.
Born Free Art School still exists.

En diciembre de 2005, decidimos parar en Bangalore para ser voluntarios en la Escuela de Arte Born Free.
El artista John Deveraj y la psicoterapeuta de danza y movimiento Mioi Nakayama crearon esta escuela para apoyar a los niños que viven y trabajan en las calles.
Yo estaba viajando con mi pareja y un amigo (ambos músicos). Ellos dictaron clases de música, mientras yo enseñé fotografía.
Fue una gran experiencia, y nos sentimos tan bienvenidos que decidimos pasar la Navidad con todos ellos.
