In April 2022, Adela Casacuberta, Paula Do Prado, and Tamara Burlando came together and started working on the Portal project. The portal's idea is to help Adela materialize her "Floraciones" (Blooms) in Australian territory.
Adela is a multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer based in Montevideo, Charrua Nation, Uruguay.
Paula is a textile artist based in Gadigal land, Eora Nation, Australia.
Tamara is a multidisciplinary artist based in Mparntwe, Arrernte Country, Australia.
Adela has a degenerative condition that is challenging her with her fine-motor capacity. She has a very limited use of her hands.
Tamara and Paula are Adela's hands in Australia.
